General:
The City of Apopka has few restrictions on fencing with the exception that wood fence support rails must not be visible from outside the fence and chain link is no longer allowed within city limits. And corner lots can be tricky due to the way the setback code is written. Apopka has several large communities within its limits that require either aluminum or vinyl fence only. One interesting thing about Apopka is that its mailing addresses are in Orange and Seminole Counties. So if you are outside city limits, you will either be in Unicorporated Orange County or Unicorporated Seminole County. Both are easy to deal with when it comes to fences.

Permitting:
Obtaining permits from the Apopka Building Department is relatively simple. Permits are issued online, usually the same day. A survey is required for the permit and any project over $2500.00 must include a Notice of Commencement. Luckily, we handle all this for you as part of our standard service.Contact:
