The Rock Springs Ridge Home Owners Association had a very specific list of fencing available for installation in the community. They required a specific three rail vinyl privacy fence that was a special order style. But they have changed the bylaws and now alow the standard two rail vinyl privacy. They are also now allowing tan vinyl privacy fence within the community. The community also allows 5' tall black flat top aluminum fence and 6' tall shadowbox wood privacy fence (old section only).
This is the previously required white vinyl privacy fence for the community. They board now allows the standard two rail vinyl privacy. The change will save residents installing a new fence a lot of money. You can still use the old three rail fence if you want to match a neighbor, but it will be more expensive.
Rock Springs Ridge also allows black aluminum fences up to 5 feet tall. The HOA requires the standard flat top rail version of the fence. We have this style available from On Guard Fence Systems, Ameristar Fence Products, Alumiguard & Elite Aluminum Fencing. All manufacturers versions meet the HOA requirements. I prefer the On Guard product because of its thicker materials and architectural powder coat finish, but all come with a lifetime warranty and all install in similar manners.
Lastly, the community allows wood shadowbox privacy fences only. The shadowbox fence is a great choice for areas that often receive high winds as it allows the air to flow through much easier. But privacy is lost because you can see through the fence at certain angles.
