General:
The City of Tavares has no real restrictions on fencing materials or styles. If you have an HOA an HOA approval letter is required for permit approval. But just because your mailing address says Tavares you may not be within city limits. Unincorporated Lake county does not require a permit for a residential fence. We can check your property status to determine if a permit is required.
Permitting:
Obtaining permits from the Tavares Building Department is all done via email. We handle all the paperwork and contact with the building department to obtain the permit.Contact:
