We Don't Charge You For An Estimate!
At Gifford Fence we do provide FREE on-site estimates where we come to you at no charge and walk the property to take measurements. In most cases we provide you a price for your new fence on the spot so no waiting and wondering what your new fence will cost.
We also provide free virtual estimates. In this case you either provide us with the type, height and color of fence you want along with the total linear footage, number and size of any gate and whether it is a new installation or you are replacing an existing fence. You can also just email us a copy of your property survey along with a basic description of the fence layout your want and we can use specialized local and online tools to determine the linear footage of your project and provide you with a price.
All virtual estimates will require an on-site confirmation visit before we can contract and schedule your job.

Q: Do you provide free estimates?
A: Yes, we provide free on-site estimates as well as estimates via email (virtual).
Q: When are you available to provide a free estimate?
A: We do free on-site estimates Monday - Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We will also be happy to schedule estimates earlier or later if needed, still at no charge. Email or virtual estimates are accepted 7 days a week and I try to turn them around within 4 hours as long as it is for stock materials. Special order materials may take a business day for a reply.
Q: Who will do the free estimate?
A: We are a family owned and operated business and a estimates for new or replacement fence installation are done by myself (Jerry Gifford), my daughter Sage or my father, Jerry Sr. If it is a repair estimate it will be performed by me or our repair technician, James.
Q: Do I have to be present for the on-site estimate?
A: While it is preferred that the homeowner be available and present for the estimate, just to make sure we get the layout right and can provide some commentary and aspect of the fence installation, it is not required. We can always call and chat while on-site or you can provide a detailed description of the fence layout that we can work from.
Q: How long is the estimate good for?
A: Our estimate prices are valid for 30 days. After that point the price may change based on changes in the cost of materials, labor or permitting. But once we have the original estimate done, as long as no changes are made, it is simple for us to take a look at it and confirm if there is a price change after that 30 day period.
Q: What is actually done at the estimate?
A: We take the time to walk the yard and get any needed measurements as well as discuss any issues we see, the permit restrictions that may affect your new fence and the HOA requirements or submission details that we can help you with. At the end of the 15 minute estimate we can usually provide you with a comprehensive price and make sure you have all the information needed to make a decision on your new fence.
